Terms of service
These terms cover your use of the Firma platform and this website. Firma is operated by Dataiva Bedrock Pty Ltd (ACN 699 256 749, ABN 12 699 256 749), trading as Firma. By using Firma, you agree to them.
1. Who these terms are between
"Firma", "we" and "us" mean Dataiva Bedrock Pty Ltd. "You" means the person or business using the platform. If you're using Firma on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Firma. Keep your login details secure and accurate, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including the people you invite to it.
3. Using the platform
Use Firma for running your work, lawfully. Don't attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the platform, don't upload anything unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights, and don't resell access without our written agreement.
4. Your data
The job records, documents and photos you put into Firma stay yours. You grant us the limited licence we need to host, back up and display that content so the platform works for you and the people you've given access to. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. You can export or request deletion of your data at any time.
5. Our intellectual property
The Firma software, brand, name and marks belong to us. These terms give you a right to use the platform, not to own any part of it.
6. Fees
Paid plans are billed in advance at the price shown when you subscribe, in Australian dollars, and renew until cancelled. If we change pricing, we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep Firma available and secure, and we'll give reasonable notice of planned maintenance. We can't promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or retire features as the platform develops.
8. Liability
Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, our liability to you for any claim connected to Firma is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss. Firma is a record-keeping and coordination tool — it isn't professional, legal, engineering or building-certification advice.
9. Ending it
You can stop using Firma and close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. If we do, you'll have a reasonable window to export your data.
10. Changes and governing law
We'll post any update to these terms on this page and, for material changes, let account holders know directly. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
